Medical school has a dirty secret. Everyone knows Anki works. Almost no one has time to use it properly. The students who ace preclinical boards aren't always the smartest — they're the ones who built (or borrowed) the best card systems.

Most students spend the first week of every dedicated study period making cards instead of studying. Or they download a generic pre-made deck and spend the whole month wondering why the cards don't match their professor's exact slides. There used to be no good answer.

HYDecks exists to fix that. We put Anki-fluent makers to work building professor-specific cards so students can skip the construction phase entirely. The cards arrive on a 48-hour schedule, ready for review. The time you would have spent making them gets returned to you, intact.

¶ Who actually makes your cards

Every deck is built by a person with a real Anki history of their own — years of card production for medical content, thousands of cards in active rotation, an opinion about every formatting decision. Not a freelancer with a template. Not a language model with no skin in the game.

Your cards are made by someone who has built thousands of medical Anki cards and knows the difference between a card that actually drives recall and one that just creates the feeling of studying. There is a difference. We obsess over it.
